Misty shook in her cage. She knew in just a few moments, something was going to happen. She didn't know what, but she knew something was. "Deep...?" she asked her brother. "Yes?" he said. "W-what was it like to be turned into something?" she asked. "Scary. You think you will die. But it only feels bad for the rest of the day." he said. "But.. What if I fail..?" she said. "What if they kill me?" she worried. "Grab the other. Let's do this test." said a man. "Always know that I love you, Deep!" she called over the man's back as she was picked up. "I love you too, sis!" he said, scared. She sat down and gritted her teeth, waiting for the needle. It never came. She opened her eyes and all of the men were talking. One nodded then the rest, and they got some catnip. She knew this was an easier, less painful way to get the test in her system. It smelled good but it looked horrible. She rolled her eyes and ate it and rolled around in it then licked her pelt. They wore gloves and petted on her, trying to soothe her. She knew it wouldn't kill her, but she was worried that something bad would happen. She soon fell asleep. The humans took her back to her cage and refilled the food and water along with Deep's. They took some cages with them to catch more cats and left. She woke up, and heard yowling. "Deep.. What's going on?" she yawned. Deep had just woke up. "Your awake." he said. "Well you seem louder than usual." he said. She looked at him. "I do? I sound normal to me." she said. "It sounds like your yelling. "Hey, Duke, looks like our experiment worked!" said a man. "That's strange.. I can understand what their saying more."  she said, then turned her head and jumped back to see a hand trying to gently grab her. She rolled her eyes and let the hand drag her out. "I think it works. Let's take her to Simon." he said. "Well, we don't have any females on our team, now do we? And she's one of the only females we caught. She widened her eyes to see a cat screaming, and getting a shot. She quickly looked away and the humans opened the door to a man sitting by a desk. They closed the door and put her down on the table. "Did your experiment work?" he asked. "Yes." he said. "Prove it." the man said. He slapped Misty's butt. "Ow! What was that for!?" she hissed. "It works! It actually works!" the man said, surprised. "What worked?" she said, confused. "You talking!" the man said. "Seriously?! Well that explains why Deep thinks I'm talking loud." she said. "Who?" he asked. "My brother. And can we PLEASE leave this place? I can't even sleep!" she said. "Where your going you'll be able to sleep. It'll be in the non-failed good test room. And the non-failed bad test room is far away from it." he said. "What about the failed test room?" she asked. "You don't want to know." he said. "What about Deep?" she asked. "The one with wings?" he asked. "Yes." "He's going with you. Duke, go with Silo and grab 'Deep' and take them to the non-failed good test room." he said. Duke nodded and the two hurried out, then Silo came back in and grabbed Misty and they all left.
